Since being sworn in to the South Carolina Bar in 1990, Carl has represented individuals and companies in just about every type of civil litigation there is. With trials throughout the state, Carl always viewed himself as a trial attorney but realized after numerous mediations in the early days of his career, that mediation was a valuable tool for all parties involved. As a result, he became a certified circuit court mediator in South Carolina in 2005. After over 31 years, Carl left the full time practice of law in 2022 to focus solely on mediation as the Edwards Law Firm, LLC. Eighteen months later, to better reflect the true nature and sole focus of the firm, the name was changed to Carl Edwards Mediation, LLC.

Based in Mount Pleasant, SC, today Carl is honored to serve as the mediator in civil matters throughout South Carolina using his insight and knowledge to assist parties in reaching successful resolutions in their litigated matters.
